Our policies
Short answers, so a visit goes the way you expect.
Booking and deposits
Book through the booking page or call. A standing visit for a workplace or a care home is set up with one contact person, who gives us the days and the room. A deposit holds the day on the calendar and goes toward the visit. A single visit at a home takes no deposit.
Canceling and running late
Please tell us 48 hours before a visit to move or cancel it. The barber waits up to 10 minutes for a person who is running late; after that the barber moves to the next person on the sheet.
If you miss an appointment
If a booked person isn't in the room when the barber reaches them, the barber moves on and the visit is marked missed. After two missed visits in a row we'll call to ask whether the schedule still works.
Children and companions
Cuts for ages 12 and under are booked by a parent or guardian, who stays in the room for the whole cut. We cut children at homes and on family days that a workplace sets up, and on a care home visit only when the facility agrees.
If you're not happy
Tell us within a few days and we'll make it right on the next visit or a short stop.
Tipping
Tipping is welcome and never expected. A tip goes to the barber who cut, in cash on the day.
Before the barber arrives
Have the room ready: a chair's width of space, an outlet, a table and a floor we can cover. Your contact meets the barber at the door. The facility checklist lists everything.
