FAQ
Questions, answered
Can I walk in without an appointment?
No. Wheelhouse is appointments only. A visit is booked for a day and a time, and the barber comes to you.
Where do you go?
McKinley and Cibola counties. Type your ZIP code on the service area page.
What does a barber need at my building?
A room, an outlet, a floor we can cover, a sink close by, a table and a parking spot. The facility checklist has the details.
How long does a visit last?
A cut takes 15 to 45 minutes. A workplace day runs three to six hours and a care home visit two to four, depending on the list.
Can a family book a visit at home?
Yes. A single visit comes to the house for one person or a household.
Do you cut children's hair?
Yes, at homes and on family days. A parent or guardian stays in the room.
What if someone on the list can't make it?
The barber moves to the next person on the sheet. A whole visit can move with 48 hours' notice.
Are your barbers licensed?
Yes. Each barber holds a New Mexico barber license and each van is registered as a mobile barbershop. The footer lists them.
How do I pay?
A company or facility can pay for the whole visit, or each person can pay for their cut. We take cards and cash.
What does a visit cost?
The price follows the service and the length of the visit, and your booking shows it before you confirm.
